HELLO AND GOODBYE TO YEAR 7 PUPILS

25th Jun 2020

Hello Year 7 boys and girls

I still find it so hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the Summer term and we haven't seen you in school since Friday 13th March 2020!

I hope that you all had the opportunity to watch the beautiful mass celebrated by Fr Doherty last Thursday. It felt really strange sitting in the chapel with just the year 7 teachers and principals. We all prayed our best for you. Your teachers read, played and sang their best for you too.

I hope too that you enjoyed the lovely video. I imagine there was some laughter and maybe a few tears!

Now for the GOOD NEWS!

Next Thursday morning 25th June 2020 all our Year 7 pupils are invited to come along to school at the times below. I've checked and double checked the weather and it looks good BUT in our beautiful country that can all change so quickly so fingers crossed for a nice sunny day.

Your teachers, classroom assistants and I will be outside the front of the school at the times below. We will get a chance to say hello, have a little chat about how you have been getting on and then say farewell and good luck as you leave to move on to your next school.

We want to make this a lovely happy morning with some little surprises and treats for each of you. There will be lots of laughter and don't forget to bring your very best smile. No uniform required unless you really want to wear it for the very last time. It's entirely up to you.

Please come along on Thursday as we are all really looking forward to seeing you again. I must remember to wear some heels as some of you were already shooting up before we closed up in March.

Rang 7  10 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.

Primary 7 11.15 a.m. - 12.15 p.m.

Take care and stay safe
