Carol Service / Carúil na Nollag
Arrangements for the Carol Service are as follows:
- Tuesday 10th Dec. in St. Mary’s Church, Maghera
- All pupils should be seated in the church at 6.45p.m.
- Pupils will sit together in pre-allocated seats with a member of staff
- Year 3 pupils will be brought to the back of the church just before 7.00 p.m. by their teachers to participate in a candle-lit procession
- All pupils (except Year 7’s) should be in their school uniform
- Year 7 pupils should wear black t-shirt/ blouse/ jumper/ top and bottoms/ leggings
- Pupils will be invited to remove coats, scarves and hats in the church and place these items under their seat.
- Violinists playing during the service should bring their violins
- All pupils must remain in their seats after the carol service until parents come forward to collect them
